I have used Window World in the past in a rental unit. They were so good about replacing a 10 old window that I went back to them a second time and just put 7 more new windows in my house.. The installers did an awesome job. windows are very nice and made the rooms more quiet and much warmer.. I will go back to them the next time I need windows.. Very please with the company on both my experiences..

AMI actually makes the windows. These energy efficient windows rock. The installers went through and got it done. Noticed lower energy bill and much quieter.
About $424 per window installed. Other companies wanted $800-$1,250 per window installed.

Window seems about average for price range.

Trim work is awful, big gaps filled with silicone that didn't even match color. Called them back but I think they would only make things worse, they only added more silicone. Next year Im doing the rest myself, "and yes I can do a better job". Wanted to charge me $150 each to dispose, I sold the old ones in a day on craigslist for $100!
They told me local code required the better window, I'm going to look into that. Signs you see say $189 , mine were $371

I can't believe for the price that I have paid, and how much I feel like I have gotten ripped off. There is air coming through my window and when it rains really bad, water gets inside my home. It's very disheartening how unreliable this window performs.

I did not want to put the contractors name out there, but I did go through Window World. Aside from breaking a glass and lots of foul language during my installation... I would say they are way below average. I almost went through Home Depot, because I wanted to save a few hundred dollars. I wish now that I would've cause the guys that came out to install looked and acted like former convicts. Cussing, commenting on my neighbors wife (I have hidden microphones) and lewd behavior made me feel uncomfortable. I even asked the guy a question about how long he had been working at Window World right here in San Antonio, his response was "does it fucking matter?" I wanted to knock the son of a bitch out, but I needed my windows done before family came into town. I think Window World could care less, when I called to complain. I tried getting them on the phone to complain, but i couldn't get any returned calls. will never use this company again.
$7,562.49 This was the price for 9 windows. I should have went to Home Depot/Lowes or just a larger company that uses background checks. They were close in price comparison. I am very very in unsatisfied with Window World. I can't believe they are still in business.

The windows themselves seem adequate but I see inconsistencies in the construction and/or trim on the window. What should be interior components are exposed on some. The installation is a different story as it appears the windows were measured incorrectly and then excessive damage to my jambs was done, and excessive caulk was used.

This may be be more a reflection of the sales rep or managers as opposed to the guys doing the work, since it appears they were put in a position of trying to compensate for improperly sized windows. But the end result is every one of my window jambs and trim were damaged and will need to be sanded, puttied, primed and repainted on 3 out of 4 sides (interior). Manager said he thought it was fine, since they say you may need to do some touch up. This is MUCH more than some touch up! When I told the manager the windows appeared mis-sized, he said " I will not admit to that". Wow! I would recommend using Home Depot or Lowes, someone who will stand behind their work.
Basic $200 per window pricing for basic vinyl windows. I would have been fine with that if they had done a better job.

Even after three crews and a total of 10 trips to install, I still have remaining issues. They installed some wrap off level. It is crooked on the front of my house and they are now refusing to come back to fix it. From the owner's own words he is not going to spend any more money on this. I contacted corporate and spoke with David, Manager of Customer Relations and he was no more help than the Memphis owner. I was told that Kelly is an independent franchise owner and while he would mediate his hands were tied and all decisions were ultimately Kelly's to make. From Window World's perspective 10 trips shows their commitment to making customers happy. From the customer perspective it shows their gross incompetence.

I had Window World replace the 12 windows in my home last yar (2011). I looked at 4 other companies, and the Window World people not only had the best price, but their entire operation from sales to installation and clean up was nothing if not professional. I am extremely pleased and have recommended them at every opportunity. My wife thinks this is the best home investment we have ever made.

Their level of care made it look like they were working on their own home.
With all the extras that we added (energy star, etc), including removal and warranty, we paid about $330 per window

They do not seem to Mfg the windows, but would not say who does?
Pricing was not 189. Seemed like a bait and switch scheme.

The advertized price of $189 per window installed is just for a plain double pane glass window. By the time you add the options (low e glass, argon, and other extras) you will be paying top dollar for a low end window per a quote from the window company.

The windows seem fine, they are average vinyl replacement windows. The warranty is limited to $250. The salesperson indicated that the windows would reduce my heating bill by a third but would not put that in writing.

The company I contracted with - Window World Indianapolis - uses subs for all installation. They removed most of the old windows by smashing the glass. They picked up most of the glass but left glass fragments in the grass, in the garden, on the walkways, on the roof, in the gutters, and on the floor inside the house.
I won't give the price but it was the usual Window World deal. The windows themselves seem fine and the price was in keeping with my budget.
