I had Window World replace the 12 windows in my home last yar (2011). I looked at 4 other companies, and the Window World people not only had the best price, but their entire operation from sales to installation and clean up was nothing if not professional. I am extremely pleased and have recommended them at every opportunity. My wife thinks this is the best home investment we have ever made.
Installed by Window World of LA
Their level of care made it look like they were working on their own home.
With all the extras that we added (energy star, etc), including removal and warranty, we paid about $330 per window

They do not seem to Mfg the windows, but would not say who does?
Pricing was not 189. Seemed like a bait and switch scheme.

The advertized price of $189 per window installed is just for a plain double pane glass window. By the time you add the options (low e glass, argon, and other extras) you will be paying top dollar for a low end window per a quote from the window company.

The windows seem fine, they are average vinyl replacement windows. The warranty is limited to $250. The salesperson indicated that the windows would reduce my heating bill by a third but would not put that in writing.
Installed by Window World Indianapolis of IN
The company I contracted with - Window World Indianapolis - uses subs for all installation. They removed most of the old windows by smashing the glass. They picked up most of the glass but left glass fragments in the grass, in the garden, on the walkways, on the roof, in the gutters, and on the floor inside the house.
I won't give the price but it was the usual Window World deal. The windows themselves seem fine and the price was in keeping with my budget.
