Re: is the "poison pill" in window contracts legal?
Since no one has posted a reply I am assuming the statement that a deposit must be made to make a contract legal and binding is accepted as true. I checked with the state contractors certification board and was referred to their legal section. They assured me that a deposit is NOT required to make a...

Re: is the "poison pill" in window contracts legal?
Am I right that a contract between a customer and a dealer is not valid if there was no down payment received. Does anyone have a legal source (federal or state) that can verify this. I do not require down payments and would hope that my contractual relationship with my customers are still valid.

Re: Water in wells of new replacement windows
Out here we have over 40" of rain and no problems. Normal unless the water does not drain back out thru the system designed into the window. Not normal if it fills up the track and overflows to the inside sill/stool.
Does anyone know of a sliding window that does not use the track system?

If it is a true half circle my manufacturer only needs a width and total height. If not a true half circle but a curved top window you may need other measurements.

Re: SolarBan vs. Low-E coating
Be aware that Milgard warranty on a raw IGU in not their regular lifetime transferable warranty including glass breakage. They probably already know this and that is why they are dealing with 2 separate sources.

Re: SolarBan vs. Low-E coating
In re reading all the posts from this poster on both forums I am beginning to think we have a cyber fairy darting in and out with endless questions. Sometimes no response is the best response to this kind of individual who seeks attention more than advice.
