Most insert application are done in a manner so as to not require drywall work.

I am sure Randy is around and can comment with some familiarity given that he is out of Houston and knows the Texas landscape as it pertains to window suppliers and products.

It is a good indication of the windows ability to sustain wind load and driving rain.

It is a good summary measurement of the windows overall strength, as an assembly, and its sturdiness.

Good catch HomeSealed. We have seen some of that around these parts of late as well.

Definitely vet this guy well. That price is really below levels that are sustainable in our market.

At that point and at that price, you have roof for spacer upgrades if you so desire. That is a crazy low number.

That is part of the glazing bead. Tough to say as to where to get. Can you find out the maker of the window? That is the best place to start.

Its not my favorite, but if it is installed well...its a decent window. It will fall short on some of the higher end data points out there.

If you are trying to get them done and aren't terribly concerned about a super quality unit, the Window Universe will probably fit the bill here.

1. Incorrect. Low-e 366 is more effective for your climate zone.
2. Not sure. Cardinal is pretty darn good at this point.
3. For just getting them ready to sell...probably not. Argon is more efficient.

Most proven window of the bunch is the Soft-Lite Pro in my opinion, but I am not sure how Zen does their installations to be honest and what level of oversight they are providing.
