Re: Gas leakage?

We do test some units that have been in the field and they seem to be in the same range as what we see in the factory. but 1% would be a fair guess on what is lost in units. It is very hard to test units in the field because the test involve light readings when the unit sparks the glass. If they are...

Re: Gas leakage?

At our plant we test units to make sure they are at 95% or more argon and we have units that have been filled with argon for 6 to 7 years now that still test at 92 to 94% argon after all these years.

Champion windows has some good rep around me and there in a lot of states.

Look for a company that has a good BBB rep and a company that has a good warranty I would stay away from middleman companys that dont make there own windows.

I personally would never buy windows from a "middleman" type company that doesn't have there own installers or service men because that tells me that they are buying the windows from anther company and having them installed by another sub or another installing company. So if there is any w...

If you keep the old frame in then you will have to have a smaller window to put back in. Also by keeping the old frame in it will be harder to cover the frame and there is also a risk of leaking. In the north we remove all the frame from Alum windows because of condensation. If there a good installe...
