Hello,
Do you know anything about the Weatherweld window by Chelsea Building Products? I'm looking at the Low E - Argon foam-filled option. If you have any experience with these, I would love to hear about it!
Thank you!

Master Windows?
Does anyone know about Master windows? They have a website (and I have a brochure): http://www.masterwindowsystems.com/
Unfortunately, that's all the information I can find. If anyone has any opinions, I will be very grateful!

Here we go again...
If we are going to replace our windows, I think we finally found the company. No real sales pitch, just took our interests into account and presented us with mid-range windows, saying we could get lower or higher if desired. Here is the rough estimate (full to follow): Master Legacy Series: ~$1900 S...

Thanks!
Thanks for your responses! I simply replied that we could not rush such an important (and expensive) decision and that we would contact them for their new price quote as soon as we had narrowed down the choices depending on the options we want.

Installation Quote Deadline?
Hello, again, everyone! I am still shopping for my window replacement and have a new question. For how long is a price quote usually good? A company I was feeling good about came out last week, but the quote is valid only through this week. This was stated on the written quote, but I have been in co...

UPDATE: Local Window Installer Estimates
Hello! In my last topic, I wrote about my estimates for Company 1 and Company 2. I now have an update and would like some opinions. As I mentioned in my first post, for Company 1, the owner came to our house, did the measurements, talked to us about his company, and recommended the Alside Excalibur ...

One other question
BTW, is it odd that I don't yet have ANY numbers or real installation information from Company 2? Are there any particular questions I should be sure to ask when I visit the showroom?

Got an update
Thank you, JScott, for the information! I will be visiting Company 2's showroom later this week or next week. The salesman found two window brands -- Windsor and Comfortview. Does anyone know how either of these are? Are they better or worse than Alside Excalibur? I still don't have a price tag, but...

Local Window Installer Estimates
Hello, We had two local (so, not Window World, or the like) companies give us estimates today, and I would like your opinion on both. For Company 1, the owner of the company (which only does windows and vinyl siding) came out, measured the windows, gave us some history of their company, the window f...

Remodeler's recommendation?
Hello, I have read through the board and undertand that, generally, Window World = bad choice. Recently, I contacted a home remodeler who was highly recommended to me. As soon as I mentioned that I needed new windows, he told me to call the local Window World, which a contractor friend of his had re...
