I took a tape and measured. Guesstimating the rough opening to be "around" the outer third of the interior trim gives me 58" wide by 54" high for the entire opening (which currently houses 2 casements).

I didn't see anything inherently wrong or slanted with my post. I thought all were valid questions. Perhaps in the future you could delete just the reponses that are offensive and add a note for them to be civil.
