Im curious where your taking your measurments from on the exterior, what type of trim exists brickmould etc. on the inside you can use 3 1/4 casing that helps especially with the header, what is the finish on the interior, sheetrock, plywood, plaster, :) :?:

if by starter strip your refering to sill expander it is installed after the installation which should be in your instructions you have to cut it to height to fill in the space on the bottom of the window and insulate behind it, unlees you ordered the windows to big or did not shim the bottom or you...

why does the fixed unit have condensation on the exterior on certain days and the dbls do not, this is a triple pane unit,could there be a gas issue or a low e issue :shock: have had issue before and am looking for a good answer to give customers who find this result unexpected
