the okna is going to be more expensive than tri state. why? because its a much better window. you simply cannot compare a high end window and an average window(being nice) based on price. i'd much rather see you get a quality window by buying in stages if afford ability is an issue. It went great, they were fast and cleaned up everything. Windows went right in very pleased with everything. The only issue I am having is putting back my A/C units. I tried to post pics but it was not working, I think they are to big will try again on my days off.

Windows install tomarrow

Hi all my windows will be installed tomarrow if it doesn't rain. I went with Tri-State Window Factory, and am getting the 4200 maxi series. I will take pics of before and after and try to get some video to post. Again thats to all to pros with there help.

I am getting the 4200 windows from Tri-State Window Factory installed in July. The 4100 series is there double pain window, the 4200 and 5400 are both triple pain only difference is the gas. I had alot of people come by before I picked this company.

I got 2 quotes so far..1 from Castle for $4577 and 1 from Thermo-tite for $4300. It is for 3 slider windows, apx 58X49 and a patio slider. Are these far quotes? Castle said the stimuls rebate will be $1373 and Thermo-tite said the stimuls rebate would be the full $1500. Any help would be great. I h...

Just put half down, will let everyone know how things go from here. Will post pics and mybe vids of the install. Will take about 3-6 weeks to make the windows. Can't wait, thanks for the info it helped alot. I would have bought a low grade window and paid top $. Thanks

Was the Okna the starmark line or the insul-tec line? Also what does the tri-state number include? is it white exterior/interior? For reference they quoted me $576 a window with it painted brown on the exterior, and the salesman said that added about 15% to the cost. Which would mean he would have ...

Going with Tri-State

Got mt Tri-State Window Factory quote for 7100. 13 windows with grids a 1 obscure. No one would come close to this number and I like the window alot, please let me know what you think thanks.

I got a last quote form Tri-State 13 DH with grids and obscure for 7100. Like the window, it was between them and OKNA but the OKNA is double pain and the quote was 7990 with grids and the guy would only come down a little. Hope everything works out, please let me know what you think.

I was on the nfrc web site and I was comparing Tri-State to Okna triple pain windows with argon. They are about the same and the price I was quoted for tri-State just dosen't compare to okna double I was quoted. When the sales man came over the price he said for okna triple was cazy. No Okna quote is for the double pane, in Ct all the quotes seam to be high, do you know anyone in the area who does windows?
