Who told you a U value of .20 compares to an R value of 9?

If the sticker is showing a different value then what you were quoted or even worse, what is on the web site for the window you thought you purchased, then the guy that supplied them ordered the wrong window either by mistake or priced the job wrong and was trying to save some money.

Simonton. Just make sure you are getting the same R or U value on the glass package when comparing the costs. Check the NFRC web site for the tested results.

I would run from the Uniframe line because they are going to discontinue it soon. PlyGem will be the brand. Decent window. If you live in New York make sure you get the best glass package available.
