Re: american craftsman new construcion windows

If you want junk.....buy those. Anderson actually owns that company I believe.

Dont know what your looking for but I wouldnt waste your money on those. If it is a money thing, then do a couple windows at a time if possible.

Re: Window World or Clear Choice Windows

I agree with you guys. But these customers need somewhere to go. Yes, WW takes some of the really good customers too but at the end of the day, would you rather charge more and offer a product and installation that you can stand behind for the entire time your in the market place? I WOULD! so I thin...

Re: Window World or Clear Choice Windows

Again, I dont see a problem with breaking down pricing. Everyone comes on these threads and knocks the competition. So what window do the rest of you guys sell? Does everyone pay a flat price regardless of the work that is involved in installing the new windows? And what do you charge? I like how ev...

Re: Window Installation - Atlanta Area

Quality is not described by how much you charge......if your measuring tool for quality is price, then does Sears and Champion have the best window? What do you get when you pay $1000.00 an opening that is so much better than $200-$600 an opening from other major competitors? I am not involved with ...

Re: Window Installation - Atlanta Area

If your buying from a Clear Choice then you should be getting a VISTA product. When Clear Choice USA went through their bankruptcy proceedings, the original owners formed a different company called Americas Best Choice which signed on with MGM Industries. To answer your questions, it is a decent com...

Re: Softlite Barrington vs Vista by Simonton??

VISTA is not made by Simonton however I have found the VISTA window to be a great window especially for the price. They offer a ton of options and are reasonably priced. Never had a service call other than something that was damaged in shipping and it takes one call and within 1 week I have the repl...

Re: Vista windows made by Simonton, how good are they?

Vista windows are not made by Simonton. Both companies have a strategic alliance with one another. Vista has three plants in Ohio, Oklahoma, and Georgia. The fact that Simonton formed a strategic alliance with VISTA speaks volumes for VISTA quality and overall product. Simonton produces some great w...

Re: Window World or Clear Choice Windows

So have you even looked at the window or are you just spouting ignorant comments? If it is so "substandard" can you explain what is so bad in comparison to your product? Thanks

Re: Window World or Clear Choice Windows

I would call Clear Choice back.....rumor has it they dropped Ply Gem due to a poor performing product. They went back to only carrying the Signature series which is made by VISTA. This seems to be the best Value in the mid grade vinyl window offerings.
