Intercept or SuperSpacer in MD ?

Hello, I consider going with Softlite Bainbridge Plus windows. Double-Pain with 'Intercept' Spacer, U-value=0.29. Super Spacer is optional for additional $30. The sales manager tells me, in his opinion, for Maryland moderate climate it is not really essential. Please advise, I am totally lost on tho...
