Gorell windows

The 5100 series has a slimmer vinyl so there is more glass area. Is this more likely to cause a frame or seal failure?

Simonton 5500 Reflections vs Gorell 5100 Sliders

The installers I have contacted for quotes recommended Simonton 5500 Reflections and Gorell 5100. We must have sliders per our Architectural Review board. Are these roughly equivilent in price and quality? Which is preferable? We have 6 double lite and 2 triple lite sliders.
