vinyl vs. fibrex
i have been in contruction for 10 years and i have seen wood and vinyl windows go in new homes. it is a no brainer when it comes to replacement windows. vinyl is the way to go. but you still have to be careful of which type of vinyl you choose. most vinyl windows are just cheap, plastic, and hollow....
