Of the three manufacturers you mentioned, I recommend Marvin - high quality, attention to detail. But, installation is key with any window so I would make sure the installer is qualified.

You can start by looking at the insulated glass overall thickness - low cost windows typically are less than 3/4" overall glass thickness. Then look at the frame depth - 3 1/4" is standard in the replacement market - stay away from < 3 1/4".

I recommend you start by being very clear and straightforward with the window contractor about the current problems you have with your old windows and what features you would like in the new windows. This will help the contractor propose a solution that best matches your interests. Low price should ...
