Vista windows made by Simonton, how good are they?

Are the Vista windows made by Simonton any good? Since it's not the Simonton name on the window is it like buying generic at Walmart?

Re: Woman needs major help deciding what to do!

Get a quote for Simonton and softlite. These windows are good and are priced right for someone on a tight budget. Stay away from Alside.

Re: Simonton 5050 Windows?

I'm afraid the 5500 are out of my price range. Are the 5050 good or are they the same quality as the Alside Excalibur? If yes, I can get the Alside for 1500.00 cheaper.

The bending and installation of the metal is actually the more labor intensive and tedious task, imo. One thing ...

Window World???

I think I know the overall view of WW on this site, but I want to make sure. Are their windows any good? Do their windows last and keep from leaks? I need to buy at least 10 windows and I don't have a bundle to spend. I have another company I'm looking at besides WW, but just can't figure out if the...

Re: Should I wrap the window trim or not???

Is it worth paying 50.00 a window to wrap? I can't decide if I should pay 500.00 for my ten windows.
