Are the Vista windows made by Simonton any good? Since it's not the Simonton name on the window is it like buying generic at Walmart?

Get a quote for Simonton and softlite. These windows are good and are priced right for someone on a tight budget. Stay away from Alside.

Simonton 5050 VS Softlite Barrington
Which window is superior? Bid for Simonton 5050 is $4620.00 and bid for Softlite Barrington is $4545.00. Any help would be appreciated. Plus I get a 3% discount with Softlite when paying cash/check.

I'm afraid the 5500 are out of my price range. Are the 5050 good or are they the same quality as the Alside Excalibur? If yes, I can get the Alside for 1500.00 cheaper.

Simonton 5050 Windows?
Is this a good window? Got a quote for ten windows: five are 28x78 and five are 28x53. The price is $4600.00. Low E, gas, double pane with grids, wrapped. Let me know your thoughts.

I agree again, $50 is on the lower end for a trim wrap. If you do have it done, take note of how much time is spent installing the windows in comparison to how much is spent on the trim. The bending and installation of the metal is actually the more labor intensive and tedious task, imo. One thing ...

Is it worth paying 50.00 a window to wrap? I can't decide if I should pay 500.00 for my ten windows.
