First off, my house is freezing. I have poor windows that condensate inside everytime it's cold. They are a little over 20 yrs old, so I am guessing no argon or Low-E. But.....my front entry door is actually warped at the top. And you can see light coming in from the top left top and side. And the c...

Because of this, Fiberglass can be painted and last. The Inline Sovereign fiberglass window that we carry has b...

Rest assured that there are certainly pollutants associated with the construction of Fiberglass/composite windows as well. The production of every product has an impact on the environment. It is the product that has the least impact that people are looking for. Also as was stated above, it is a con...

I believe Vinyl would not be considered "green" because of the way it is produced.
Fiberglass is considered "green".

The Schuco Patio Door is all new and a great design. It is built like a tank, but amazenly slides very easily. Most of the problems that Fenex stated are problems for installers, and come in to affect if you ever need to replace the sash. These are not problems that a customer will incur. (He is rig...

Don't just look at the window. Look at the quality of the IG (Insulated Glass) Unit. That is far more likely to fail then the window. Fiberglass is really strong. But ask yourself this: Have you ever seen a window frame or sash actually break???? Whether it is wood, vinyl or fiberglass, I've persona...
