Stupid?

I currently have thermopane wood windows with storm windows and wonder if it is stupid to replace them with vinyl windows (70s brick ranch). Expecially if I'm not having any problems with them. I would replace them strictly for aesthetic purposes. I was looking at the Alside Excalibur and Gorell 510...

I need opinions on Alside Excalibur windows and the Gorell 5100. The quote runs be around $300 per window for the Excalibur and $350 for the Gorell 5100. Please advise...
