There are some very well made vinyl windows that most pro’s strongly endorse but Pella is Not one of them.

Why not just get insulated siding that will not only create more insulation and structural rigidity, but also offer permeability. From what i know, 1 inch foam could actually trap moisture. Stick to the advice above, call a window pro and there are plenty of window companies that will do new constru...

Gluacester County is out of the service area for AGM Window & Door, we serve Northern NJ and most of Central NJ. I do know Delaware Mike serves that area. He is a good guy and also offers some great products.

The alliance hawthorne does NOT belong on the same list as the others. The other options are much better windows.
We cant comment on price since there are far too many variables. You do have a list of some very solid options though with the exception of the hawthorne. Where are you located?

You need to be an authorized dealer in order to access vytex. Also, you could reach out to Windows on Washington. The owner is Eric and a very good guy. They have some very nice products. They do serve Annaplois and offer Okna.

ive been doing this a long time and never saw a decent window priced anywhere near $230 per window, not even close. if u want, just go for it. worse case u just do the windows again in 5 years. i would also see if your friend can find a cheaper window. i know a fireman who helps a friend flip houses...

Thermal weld is a decent window and kensington is very good, especially the quantum.

The Lindsay “ pinnacle” is a decent window and i prefer it over the simonton for a few reasons, particularly the sill design as well as extra features offered with the pinnacle. It a better window and better lookng.

At first glance, the climateguard “Thermal Force” looks pretty decent. The other one’s dont look too good.
As far as virgin vinyl, you do want virgin vinyl over recycled vinyl. That said, even with virgin vinyl, there are different grades of it.

Usually a company offering a high end window such as sunrise or okna, the dealer is vetted for competence and reliability as part of the criteria required to become a dealer. I think you are good.

Just because you claim someone said they are “ sister products” doesnt mean one isnt a little nicer than the other.
The majestic is a little nicer and i like the sill wall design better.

If you get blinds between the glass, your only option is Hard coat LowE. You cannot get soft coat with blinds, it can be scratched.
