Re: Should I wait for Schuco?

I put in many Schuco patio doors and would choose a Great Lakes Uniframe Door over the Schuco. The Great Lakes Uniframe has a .19 U-Factor and is a much nicer looking door with many more options then the Schuco.

Re: Can't decide between LBL, Simonton and Polybau - Please

Getting new windows should not be this hard! We are currently looking to replace 8 windows with vinyl casements. We are looking at two installers, one selling Polybau, the other, Simonton 7300 and the LBLs with retractable screens. The Polybau saleman is telling us that both LBL and Simonton are te...

Anyway I have found a real reasonably priced fiberglass made by Pella called Imperiva. The only issue I have is that they don't make casements. They have double hung, single hung and fixed. They don't offer a lot of color choices but there pricing is that of vinyls. I would like to know if anybody ...

[quote="elisawHowever, let me ask you - I was under the impression that windows needed to be an EXACT fit. He took a few measurements of each window (3 in each direction), but he indicated that he'd rather have a window too small (within a 1/2") than a window too large. Although I underst...

Re: Which Philadelphia dealer did you go with?

Hi kellsbells. I read some of your posts, and I am also in Philadelphia, and interested in getting a quote on schuco windows! Which company did you go with? (do they have a website?) and, if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you for what size of job? Let me know, I'm very interested. T...

Thats terrible. This situation with Schuco is really causing a lot of problems for my company. The fact that no one can get a real answer from them shows that Schuco really doesn't care about us dealers or our customers.

I can only tell you that given the same situation with one of our customers, we would be happy to cancel the order if we could. I would order my customer a new door of their choice from another manuf. and install it with no addition charge for labor. I'd also apologize to my customer and thank them...

FenEx is it confirmed that the deal between Schuco and Four Season went through? Seems like a lot of speculation on this site about how its going to go down..I really cant see Schuco bailing on there window warranty since they will still be in the US with there solar program..That just my opinion I ...
