I do know that there would be an increase in the cost but the one quote I did get so far showed over $80 more for a standard 36X62 single hung with the LOe glass which I think may be a little much.

Just trying to get some idea what the added cost is going to be with LOe vs no LOe in dbl pane windows for Florida area?

It was the ac master package,internal grids ppg intercept argon gas lo e 277 I believe and just white vinyl.

Just had an estimate from Gorell for (6) 36x62 (1) 50x62 and (2) 24x62 windows.(Still in a little shocK at the price given)they were for hurricane vinyl with grids and low e at a price of over $13,000.Thought that was a little high even tho the Gorell is supposed to be a very good window.Any thought...

That's the point I was trying to make in my previous reply. What good are tax incentives if we do not file a tax return? If our back ass backward government would help the retired individuals by going with a rebate vs tax incentive they would no doubt have more owners replacing windows.

Just cannot understand the big question on the tax incentive? That stimulus would be worthless for all the folks that do not file a tax return since it is not really a rebate toward the window purchase.I think many folks are still confused by this.
