Colonial casement options?

#1 Post by JimR1998 »

We are looking to get a casement 5-wide vinyl bow window. We have double hung windows elsewhere in the house and would like the casements to look somewhat similar.

I'm told some manufacturer's have a "colonial casement" option. The top half of the window is made with external grids and the bottom half plain glass. The middle divider is slightly thicker to give the look of DH. I saw an example from Paradigm and was impressed, although the window is a bit pricey ($3200 + install).

Any other manufactuers I should look at? Thanks.

Simonton has a colonial casement option for a bow or a bay. The grids are internal and would have to be in the top and bottom.
