Installing in very cold weather

Installing in very cold weather

Is it ok for my installer to install my double hung windows if the temperature is near freezing in the thirties? I heard it is a problem for caulking. Should I ask he reschedule until warmer weather? How cold can it be for successful window installation?

There is no problem with installing in the winter as long as they are using caulking that cures in cold weather ...with no reduction in the caulk's performance.
