Jen-Wald 'construction windows?'

#1 Post by redsox11 »

We are doing a remodel and have Jen-Wald windows from the initial construction, about 10 years ago. Are they any good? We have the option of adding the same window where needed, or replacing the whole lot of 'em w/something better at a reasonable price. Is it worth the effort to make the switch, or are these windows 'good enough' to just add the same look where necessary?

thx.

They have several lines. Most likely they are the builders series. They are fine for new construciton. They are used alot on the west coast for new construction. It would keep the same look around the house, which to me is nice. Only thing to look for is the Low-E glass. 10 years ago, ti was a different color.
