Which Windows..in MD

#1 Post by whichwindow »

I am looking at a few different manufacturers......Thermal Industries, Ideal, Schuco, Vytech.

I am looking at welded, multi-chambered, LowE, Argon, Double Hung vinyl windows to replace my current wood windows.

How do I know I am looking at a well manufactured window when the basics I mentioned above seem to be on every window I look at. I've been told that a heavier window is better....is this true?

Please some insight. I'd be grateful so I can make a decision and get on with my life.

Get quotes from several companies and sort through the BS. Look for a company that carries several lines as they will probably be unbiased in their reviews.
