Milgard Tuscany - Cutback

#1 Post by Deckli »

We have 2 x 4 construction and are concerned as to how much of our window sill will be left once the Milgard Tuscany windows are installed. We currently have Milgard Aluminum - which have a total depth of 2 1/4" It is our understanding that the Milgard Tuscany have a total depth of 3 1/4" Would I only loose about 1 inch, or more? ~ Linda

Your math is correct by my measurements but then again...it is early in the AM for me.

We just finished a house like yours with the same windows. The cut back was 3/4"
