help, please!! We'r really confused!

We're getting quotes to replace 20 windows and sliding patio door with vinyl replacement. We've seen the XACT, BrynMawr by Certainteed and Tri-States's Ultrashield. Also Lowe's Survivor 7100. We live in nw nj. If anyone has any comments/info or other recommendations would really appreciate it. Our house was built in the late 60's and the windows, frankly, stink. Mainly seeking a durable, energy efficient window that also won't break the bank. Is there such an animal out there?? Thanks for any input.
