Does anyone know why there are so many different CPD numbers for a particular windows. For example, if I look uder Soft-lite Elements, there are dozens of lines with same "Frame and Sash Type", different CPD #'s and different performance #'s. When geting quote from different contractors, how do you know you are comparing apples to apples?

The different CPD #'s represent all the different glass units, configurations, and generations of window. If the window line changes, they need to send out a new sample and hence the new CPD #.

Get the CPD #'s for the specific windows that you are quoted and start there. That will narrow your comparison.
