Apparently from the replies I've gotten back on a post I made a couple of days ago I guess I'm looking at crappy windows.
I've looked at 3 companies, america's windows, window world and air-tite. Here are there websites..
http://www.americaswindowusa.com/
http://www.windowworldlouisville.com/index.php
http://www.airtitehomeproducts.com/
Can someone take a look at these websites and give their opinion if these companies windows look like crap or not? I don't know what I'm looking at here.
What are some good brands and models of windows I should be looking at? Pella? Andersen? Gilke? Atlas?
I've measured my windows myself this morning and plan to go around to some places today to get quotes and look at windows, hopefully that will educate me better.
so what is a good brand and model of window??

Assuming that you are looking for an installed project and not just to buy the windows and install them yourself, let me know how you make out. I only know of a few companies that will give prices without looking at your window openings.
BTW, your home might be your biggest investment don't degrade it with builder grade windows. Pella and Andersen spend a fortune on ads, I would not suggest their product lines unless you like having brand name windows with less than average warranties.
