I have a 1.5 story and decided to go with the white with white grids on the upper level as a test to make sure I like it.

I'll post before and after pictures. New ones are going in 3 weeks now, apparently installs are getting pushed out due to bumping business.

Sure. Here are a couple of old ones from when I first moved in. I've since taken down those ugly metal blinds -- now I have narrow light-filtering shades that fit entirely within the frames of the casement windows.

That is all I could find (or what I've seen with new construction), white vinyl, wood trim BUT white paint. In that case the transition is always smooth.

I have alot of earthtones painted in my house, so if you have that as your color scheme you might want to wait for some pics.
