Preservation windows r-value/u-value?? price quote good?

#1 Post by cantdecide7 »

We are looking at preservation double and triplepaned doublehung windows.

Price quote:

$475 doublehung window-double paned, low e, argon
$650 doublehung window- triple paned, low e, krypton

Does anyone know the u and r-values of these windows??
Or the NFRC sticker numbers? Can't find these windows on their website.

All help greatly appreciated!

P.s. what about the price quote are the numbers reasonable?

Double with argon .28
Triple with krypton .19

The price is in the broad general range it should be, but I can't be more specific on whether it should be lower or higher because of installation variables, possible options, and lack of knowing the sizes.
