Help choosing replacement windows in SW Riverside County CA

Looking for help in choosing affordable, quality, energy efficient windows and company to replace windows in 38 year old modest/average home. Property values have taken a nose dive here and don't want to spend more than I have to. Want windows that quality for tax credit. Got a quote on Alpine Windows 70 series with solar therm ultra plus; are they quality windows? Which windows would be good deal and which company to use?

There are not that many brands that I would say "stay away" from. You mentioned one of them.

Empire Pacific, Atrium, and Ply Gem are 3 that would provide you with a quality product, a lifetime warranty and won't break the bank.

could try Superior windows out of Ontario, Ca.
