Simonton 5500, Gorell 5100 or Alside 8000 in Boston

In Boston area. Need advice on final selection between these three. Replacing 17 old double hung vinyl inserts (abt 20 yrs old) Prices are similar .

Simonton and Gorell are both nice products and far superior to the Alside in all objective and subjective categories. ... Between the two, I like Gorell, but you could probably survey 10 window guys and they'd split down the middle.

Hey Homeseal thanks very much for the quick reply. I want to pull the trigger on this deal tomorrow to get the windows ordered and installed before the great New England arctic freeze arrives.

Good idea... days are running short if you want to get the tax credit. :) ...... If price is equal, choose between the Gorell and Simonton based on which features you prefer, and/or which installation company that you feel more comfortable with.
