I'm replacing 6 2 lite sliding windows. I have looked at two windows. One is the Alside Excalibur and the other is the Simonton Reflections Line. Does anyone out there know if one window is any better than the other? Preferences? Why? Thanks for helping me make my decision.

Simonton- better quality materials, construction, design and performance. It is superior in every objective and subjective way. The one positive thing that I can say for Alside is that their customer service is pretty decent. I never ran into any issues getting warranty parts (and believe me, there were alot)

Simonton is better, by far. The Excalibur has flimsy frames and leaks air like a sieve.
