Pella therastar vs Reliabilt by Survivor

#1 Post by miked »

I am looking to replace 14 windows as well as 2 sliding glass doors. I have been pricing windows for about 3 weeks now and I seem to have it limited to the Pella Therastar or Survivor Relabilt series 7000. The sales manager in Lowes told me that the Survivor is slightly better, but not worth the cost increase over the Pella. Could someone please give me some advise or an opinion. :?:

Ironically, I just picked up brochures on both of those yesterday at the new Lowes here in Buffalo.
For the price, I think you can get better, to be honest with you.
But that depends on how much looking you want to do.

Do not go with the Reliabilt windows. Their quality control is awful. I purchased 3 windows of which one was damaged and needed to be replaced and 2 of the screens were torn.
