So after some other quotes I talked to my neighbor and he recommended a guy 2 culdesacs over that did his 5 years ago. Turns out the guy has moved to basically less than 200 yards from my house. And his daughter is on my wifes volleyball team at high school. Small world.
Any rate I upped my 13 double hung and 1 picture window to 16 double hungs and 1 picture window which handles 3 sides of the 4 on my house. So for the Simonton 5500 with half screens ( still not sure why the wife wants just half screens but oh well) the grand total was $6375 installed which works out to $375 per window. I thought this was a pretty good quote so all in all I've decided to go with him.
