sunrise versus softlite vinyl replacement windows

Which of these two windows would you recommend?
What is a fair price, installed?
What are the best models of the windows?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Both are great companies.

Sunrise, I like the Vanguard (Restorations is the same window) series.

Soft-Lite, I like the Imperial LS (Elements is basically the same window) series.

+1 You really can't go wrong with either window assuming a high quality installation. I sell both windows but I personally like the aesthetics of the Sunrise a little better. Some dealers have been reporting a drop off in quality control with Soft-lite recently.

i am assuming the quality control issues at soft lite you are referring to are grid alignment issues with super spacer?

Both are very good windows, certainly two of the top four or five vinyl windows made, IMO.

Soft-lite has has a few QC issues lately, but I would say they are the kind of issues that are more irritating for the dealer than detrimental for the homeowners. Sunrise has their issues as well, as does every manufacturer.
