live in suburb of chicago and looking for replacemnt windows. The windows we have now are the original with the ropes on the side. after talking to a couple guys i got a quote from energy saver windows which use "lang exterior windows" and he quoted 300 a window including install. The next guy i spoke did work for a guy i work with and he uses alliance windows and for 3 windows quoted 1577.00 windows and install. i trust the 2nd guy more cause i have seen his work but after lokking at this website i saw nothing but negatives about alliance windows, so im just looking for some guidance.
energy saver windows= ultimate 3200 series, double hung white vinyl cant tell if quote says 40 low e glass or 400 and same for argon gas 40 or 400
alliance windows he is sending specifics all i can tell u is they have a life warranty and they are white vinyl double hung
