I am in the process of replacing 8 vinyl windows (4 du=ouble hung, two sliders and two bathroom sliders) and a sliding patio door in my home. Been researching and looking at windows and reading this forum. I have gotten great advice here-thank you all. Want to go with Soft-Lite Elements or Imperial LS for the windows. Two questions. First, I understand that installation is key. Does anyone have a reference of a good contractor in my area? Second....any recommendations for a sliding patio door....the Pella that was in my home when purchased is awful....drafty as heck. Patio Door faces south with lots of sun everyday. Thanks for any assistance!

Soft-Lite can put you in touch with a couple of their dealers if you contact them directly and they make a pretty good door as well.

I prefer the Sunrise rolling patio slider to the Soft-Lite product.

I agree. The Sunrise Slider is a very nice door.
