Info on MGM Industries - Sienna 4600 Series window

#1 Post by sgillilan »

Looking at putting in new windows (St. Louis, MO) and one company sells the Sienna 4600 Series from MGM Industries. Anybody have information on this window and if it is a good window?

Haven't used it, haven't heard much about it. Post up the thermal (u-value) and structural (air infiltration, design pressure) ratings and we can give you some additional feedback.

Air infiltration looks to be .17cfm.
The top performing vinyl choices are seeing u-factors between .25-.28 in double pane, and air infiltration ratings under .05.

.31 Ufactor is very high. I would expand my search. The air leakage rate is high as well

Can't really add more to it than this.

Those would be good numbers if we were still in the 90's.
