Live in Houston and trying to decide:
Sunrise Essentials
Sunrise Vanguard
Softlite Elements
Don Young (aluminum)
Sunrise Essentials are lower than the others by $2,000. What would I be sacrificing by choosing them? I don't mind spending more, but want to make sure it is worth it.
Thanks

Elements.
Slam dunk.
Essentials is a nice window but to really compare to the Elements, the Vanguard is the more appropriate comparison.
Aluminum is nice too but will not give you the air, thermal, or structural numbers as compared to the higher end vinyl in that selection.
If you haven't already, you need to get a quote from Randy on this board. He serves that area.

I'd also recommend talking to randy if he is in your area. Great guy, great products. In vinyl you'll definitely want sash reinforcement down there, which the Vanguard and Elements both provide. Essentials is a fine window, but I like the others better, especially in that environment.
