We currently have magnetic plugs in all the ground floor casement windows connected to the hardwired security system.
How do you get this hooked up to a new vinyl window? How does retro-fit vs. full frame affect this?
Thanks.

They can be hooked to retro contactor switches once the wire is pulled through the sill.
We, as a standard, have the customer coordinate with the security company because we do not want to accept the potential liability of that retrofit.
Pretty easy to accommodate though.

i would us a 3/8" press and fit switch in the vertical leg with a rare earth magnet on the sash. Should be enough clearance to do this and provide a fairly large gap.
