I have no replies so must be no has heard of these windows which are manufactured in Rochester and Syracuse New York and seem to be popular since I see their trucks every where. Have also talked to people who have the windows and like them. I went to the show room and they gave me a price of $3474 for four windows, fiberglass filled frame U factor .26, SHGC .20, VT 62, air leakage .26, and cond resist 60. I told them the price is too high. I have Wonder Windows coming to show me the Okna window. Which of these would be the best for upstate NY?

Based on the numbers you have provided, anything in the Okna line would be superior.

I would wait to get a quote on those and see what that nets you from a comparison standpoint.

Wonder Windows came today and showed me their Okna Deluxe windows. U-factor 0.25, SHGC .27, VT 49, air leakage .02, and condensation resistance 62. The frame is foam filled and price is $2014 for the 4 windows. Seems like a much better deal than the Pace window. Is the Deluxe Okna double pane a good window? Thanks for your replies!

At .02 you must be looking at the 500DX.
It is not a good window, it is a very good window window.
Based on a standard install with capping that is a super price.

+1

Only bested, in my opinion, but another window in Okna's line and a Soft-Lite Elements.

+2... It (Okna) is not a very good window, but an elite window, as evidenced by the comparison of performance ratings. :D I have no experience with the Pace product, but the AI rating that you've listed at .26 is utterly atrocious.
It looks as though you've found a great deal on the Okna product. :)

Sounds like a good deal provided they perform a quality installation and stand behind their work.

Thanks!! I'm going to go with the Okna. The installers are suppose to be certified window installers and all the company does are windows and doors. I really appreciate all your help. Thanks again!
