I wasn't implying that it was top secret, just that what you added to the discussion was pertinent, but way to ruin a compliment...

I took it as a compliment and coming from you I consider it high praise.
Thank-you.

Todd, I have only sold/installed a couple of their lines. Do you know what the differences are that cause such a gap in structural performance, given that it appears to be the same extrusion? Even looks like they use the same pictures across the lines. My sales rep had previously informed me that there are only two casements offered, and even then they are the same extrusion with different levels of bells and whistles.
The woodgrain model in my pic has a Imperial LS label on it, and the beige model was given to me to sell with both the imperial Pro and the Gorell lines...

My guess the difference comes down to the weatherstripping, glass thickness, sash reinforcement maybe.Usually when I do casements they are for egress in rentals. Almost always use the Classic line for those but have done a few Barringtons. I haven't noticed the difference between the two but really wasn't looking for it at the time.

Interesting... I can understand the AI difference from double to triple weatherstripping, but dp from 40 to 70 just seems extreme. I'll look into that.
