Okna vs ReliaBilt Windows Series 3500

#1 Post by bravish »

Hello, I am looking to replace 17 windows and a sliding patio door in Dayton, OH. I got a quote from local home improvement guys (A+ rating with BBB) for Okna windows for $11,000 and from Lowes for ReliaBilt windows for $9000. I hearing lot of good things about Okna windows but the cost of ReliaBilt seems to be good. Can somebody help me by letting me know which is one is better option? I do not mind spending extra $2000 if Okna is a better window.

Thanks

Not even a fair comparison. Okna is one of the nation's top performing window manufacturers with great products.

ReliaBilt is suitable for apartments, flip houses, rental property, etc…. Not a product that a quality oriented contractor would offer.

Okna is well worth the additional $2000.00.

Tough to even put a number on what the Okna is worth over the Reliabilt but it is at least $2K better.

Slam dunk for the Okna.

Thanks. Will it make a difference if it is Okna 400 series?

The reliabilt is made by Atrium if I'm not mistaken.... And yes, okna is in another stratosphere in terms of performance.

Stay away from big orange and big blue. The windows that they sell are chosen for their low prices, not quality in my opinion.
