Okna 800 vs. 500?

#1 Post by rzmwindow »

As far as I can see the differences between these two are:

500:
1. No support bar in the sash rails.
2. Rail, vs. handle for the lift
3. Cosmetically less pleasing (less rounded corners, etc.)
4. Bulb vs. magnetic seal on the sill
5. No support interlock on the sill

Did I miss something? Is the vinyl the same thickness? Same # of pile/weatherstripping points? Hard to tell from the pictures.

Thanks,
Mich

Weatherstripping piles are the same.

Mil thickness on the 800 vinyl is a bit thicker.

+1. The 800 is a little bit more stout structurally. Thicker extrusion. reinforcement, etc.
