I would not $80 more for the Bainbridge over the Barrington. They are pretty much the same and you only gaining 0.01 in U-value. For that money you could probably upgrade to triple pane, add sash reinforcement and still pocket change over the Bainbridge or take the money saved and apply it to other week spots from your blower door test.

Bainbridge is prettier but that is about it.

I don't disagree that $800.00 is too much, however, I wouldn't personally sell or purchase the Barrington without sash reinforcement.
