How good are these windows

my neighbor just bought winguard windows from PGT( hurricane impact windows.).........how are they for durability and what should the price range for 36x36 windows .................. 8) .

PGT is a well regarded window. Cost can vary by dealer/contractor and the installation required. Best suggestion - call a couple of contractors to get a quote- they can usually give you a conceptual quote over the phone, provided you give them the details of what you want.

PGT is well regarded and certainly well trenched in Florida.

How good are these windows?

I am looking at the Soft Lite Pro windows.

They are virgin vinyl with metal reinforced welded frames.

They have excellent NFRC and AAMA ratings, for both the double pane argon and up graded triple pane krypton gas glass packages.

My question is will the metal reinforced frames rust?

I live in the North East CT
