Looking at Soft-Lite Bainbridge sliders. The installer's estimate includes half-screens.
Probably a dumb question: If a person is going with half-screens, what is the point of having both sides of the windows slide?
Do these Soft-Lites come in both flavors? If so, is there a significant price difference?

Re: Window screen question:
1) The screen moves so you could conceivably push it up when you want to open the top sash. (although the screen is meant to seal better over the lower opening)
2) DOuble hung allows for both sashes to tilt for cleaning.
What do you mean by "both flavors"? Half screen vs full screen? If so, yes, and the upgrade should be pretty minimal $$$.

Re: Window screen question:
Half screens give you the benefit of more light and as HomeSealed is mentioned, is pretty standard in the case of the Double Hung.
If you are getting a 2-Lite slider and foresee that you will be venting through both sides, just have him specify full screens.
The price offset should be minimal.
