Okna 500/800 ball park pricing

#1 Post by Kbart »

I have read many positive comments on the Okna 500 and 800.

I am considering them for my home in the North East in CT.

Could someone tell me a ball park price to expect for the 500 and the 800 installed replacement windows?

My windows are double hung, 32 x 62inches, 100 Ui windows.

Also, does this company do the installation or do you hire a local contractor?

Either one of those windows are a WISE choice.

Cost of installation greatly depends upon a number of factors -the installation needs, regional labor charges, hardware options etc. Best thing to do - call a OKNA dealer(s) and get a quote or quotes.

I am not certain if OKNA dealers allow cash and carry, affording you the option to hire your own contractor. I will leave that to the pros to answer.

Why would you hire a handyman to install a good window? You are going to invest a decent amount of money for a good window and then cut corners by saving some money and using some hired gun ????
I just dont get it. Use a certified okna dealer.

Start getting quotes. The cost of doing business from market to market is different.

You should be able to get a very good window for near that number though.

wow, your ball park # was spot on, thank you! I got a quote for the 800 super deluxe triple pane foam filled, argon gas window installed with my brick mold fixed and aluminum wrapped for $700 per window and I went with it. However, should I add the krypton gas?

If your budget can accommodate it, triple pane with krypton will deilver the most efficient glass package. That said, "bang for the buck" would point to argon.
