I got a quote for replacement windows from a local business (http://www.glass-rite.com/window-replac ... l-windows/). My house has a bunch of different sized windows so the prices per window vary. But the installed price they're offering me for a 3x3 slider is $451. A 5x3 slider is $531. A 3x3 casement is $531. An 8 x 4 XOX sliding picture window is $790.
Do those seem like reasonable prices? I have seen the windows in person and was impressed. They appear to have been specifically designed to reduce air infiltration.
Does this quote seem sane?

1995-era awful double pane aluminum windows are coming out. I'm redoing the stucco at the same time, so they are going to do a flush install with no exterior trim/fin thing. The windows are 7/8" double pane units, have no grids, and are treated with SolarBan 60 or 70 (depending on orientation) and have double metal cam locks.
Here are the NFRC window specs:
Solarban 60 windows: U-0.27 SHGC-0.31 VT-0.55 Air infiltration 0.03
SolarBan 70 windows: U-0.26 SHGC-0.22 VT-0.49 Air infiltration 0.03

+1
That is an expensive install type but them not having to do the repairs would definitely drive the price down.
